Men In Sheds – Winsford is a community based organisation, where men can come together to learn, share skills and make long-lasting friendships together. In order for this to happen the shed relies on our sponsors and supporters. 

Initially the original shed in Winsford  was established by Age UK with donations from multiple organisations. During the Covid pandemic the shed was shut down to protect the health and safety of its members. Age UK were unfortunately unable to sustain the sheds operation and the shed was shutdown permanently in September 2021. 

The sheds members agreed to rebuild the shed and manage the workshops independently of Age UK and the Winsford Community Shed was created.

Thanks to the help and support of various organisations the shed is now operational again and has relocated to new premises provided by its main sponsor Changing Lives Together. The new Winsford Community Shed would like to thank the Changing Lives Together organisation and all the other sponsors and supporters who with there continued support and donations have enabled the shed to reopen and reestablish the operation of the shed which without their support would have closed permanently.
